We found the money to run off EJ. Hopson's just not quite that bad. Kugler probably was.

Big money is in bed with Hopson. He ain't going anywhere. 5-6 wins a year is the new norm for 2-3 more years (maybe more).

Indeed.

I was watching ULM @ ULL last week. Might have been 2500 there. ULL is about what our program is today. Ceiling is the NOLA Bowl and the only sport the school is good at is baseball. That's where we are at nowadays.

We could pull a Cal State Fullerton. They shut down their football program in the 90s and focused entirely on baseball. Might be the way to go.

Why would someone spending "big money" on the program want mediocrity?

Oh, wait, I remember! They just want special jock-sniffer access to the program! Hobnob with the assistant coaches, who'll indulge you by looking over your play diagrams! Maybe play golf with Hopson, who'll go to heroic lengths to lose to you!

It's really pathetic. Store-bought women, store-bought friends, etc.
