d I stand by my AUTO loss to TENN, even though they are terrible.

There is exactly one way we can beat an SEC team on the road in a game with SEC officials: the other team has to turn over the ball, and blatantly at that. This must happen either frequently (e.g. Bama in 2000), or happen so late in the game that the officials can't wallpaper over the damage (UGA in 1996).

Tennessee is the game where we need to ask "will they turn it over?" instead of the usual "will we turn it over?".

Or maybe they don't, but we screw around on offense for 3.5 quarters and they win on that basis.

Yep. We started a QB who has not shown that he can run an offense effectively, and who has shown, repeatedly, that he will turn the ball over.

Yep. We started a QB who has not shown that he can run an offense effectively, and who has shown, repeatedly, that he will turn the ball over.

you can't really start Griggs in those games, the kid had like 4 broken bones in his hand. I had heard he had torn ligaments and that was why hop was keeping it under the lid but then found out it was broken. there was no Daddy Ball involved here. he could hardly take a snap for a while and if an opposing player had simply hit his hand that shit would hurt like a mother and possibly re-damage what was healing.

I had heard he had torn ligaments and that was why hop was keeping it under the lid but then found out it was broken. there was no Daddy Ball involved here. he could hardly take a snap for a while and if an opposing player had simply hit his hand that shit would hurt like a mother and possibly re-damage what was healing.

Four broken bones torn ligaments!?  Yet he was able to come into several games late and play well.  The coaches were worried about further injury, but not in the 4th quarter?  I don't buy it.

no daddy ball. Hop named Griggs the starter after Kentucky game and he started until he injured his hand. Hop clearly explained why he put griggs in late in those 2 games. they were lost and Griggs had told him he could take some snaps in a losing cause.  no daddy or mommy ball at all.  but a lot of internet fake news for certain.

If they are hurt, they play.
