The cost of living is much lower in the Hattiesburg-Sumrall-Seminary metroplex than it is in Birmingham, though. Might surprise you city folk how far a dollar goes in a place like Oloh, MS.

The cost of living is much lower in the Hattiesburg-Sumrall-Seminary metroplex than it is in Birmingham, though. Might surprise you city folk how far a dollar goes in a place like Oloh, MS.

Birmingham is a mini version of Atlanta these days. Retail, residential builders and restaurants all emulate a small town version of a northern ATL suburb......Surprised how high the cost of new construction is in the Hoover area these days.

Consider this:  When USM football was at its best, we were a team that would get a coach fired for losing to us.  At our worst, Conference B1/3coaches get raise & extension for beating us. Wierd.
