I like the guy that said Monken left USM because we ain't got no gosh-darn fan support. Fucking idiots. That is the State mindset though. They said the same thing about how we got left out of the AAC. Yeah, then how did Tulsa, Tulane, and SMU get in? DUMBASSES.

I don't want to see Monk go to Moo but he would be wise to jump ship in Tampa before that staff is shown the door next year.  He may have disliked recruiting in CUSA but would fare much better in the $ec.  He can go to UT for all I care or Arkansas.

A source familiar with Ole Miss' search tells @rebelgrove Ole Miss will take the interim tag off Matt Luke and make him the Rebels' permanent coach. We haven't confirmed that but we are comfortable with the sourcing.

Ole Miss might hang on to Luke.

Missed opportunity for Ole Miss, but I think Luke might get the job.

Luke taking that job under those circumstances is a high character move and shows love for his wretched alma mater.  May they pay him well for taking over a trainwreck-in-progress.  Their next real hire comes in two more years or so after they've paid their dues for beating Bama and out-cheating them.

WTF is up with the creepy last part of that ad:

Sad looking young dude: "I wish my family had had insurance so I could have gotten the best care available sad"

Is it an ad for rehab or an ad for insurance? Or has the relationship there become so incestuous that you can't even really separate the two?

I kind of think Fedora at State might be cool. If nothing else, I doubt he'd give any other CUSA teams games before us.

Well, I was one-for-two. Tennessee found a way to shit the bed. Ole Miss made the smart play, given their current situation. Let's see if Miss State gets it right.

Re: Wow, plenty of coaching jobs available.....and maybe more.

let's see what kind of crazy shit happens today........

Florida-good safe hire
Ole Miss - probably the best they can do considering the NCAA slamming them shortly.
Tenn. - clueless administration. Time for Gruden rumors to start again.
Nebraska - word is it's Scott Frost
MSU - no clue
aTm - hmmm, ?
arkansas - ?

From Twitter
David Cutcliffe has also emerged as a potential hire, with Tee Martin potentially returning as offensive coordinator and Kevin Steele as defensive coordinator. There is real momentum among many boosters to install a "Tennessee guy" at top of program again:
