Yep.....but don’t forget one of our best teams (97) lost by two touchdowns to a 4-7 Bama team that would end up losing to La Tech in Tuscaloosa. Not the first time and definitely not one of our better teams that wet the bed when they should have won against a weaker SEC opponent.

One of our best teams (97) lost by two touchdowns to a 4-7 Bama team that would end up losing to La Tech in Tuscaloosa.

It's not a popular opinion, but that 1997 team underachieved, just like this year's team. Watch that team's bowl game highlights and tell me they shouldn't have won at least one of those SEC teams. There was a lot of talent on that team.

Also, when I posted this thread, I was mostly just making fun of something someone said on the other board about UK. Bowls don't really get into strength of schedule at our 2017 level of success. They just want desperately to avoid a high school-worthy crowd.

And our biggest weakness. And we've proven that winning 8 or 9 games against this level of competition does not get people to come to the games.
