Went to Eagle Club meeting last night in Natchez..........

Coach Berry was the speaker....actually did quite well, who'd have thought?   Anyway, prior to introducing the coach, the Eagle Club dude (forgot his name) talked some about various things, etc and then took questions.  Bowl question was first.  He emphasized it was HIS OPINION only, but he thinks it'll be the Independence Bowl vs Wake Forest, Duke or Florida State.   FWIW

Spoke relatively positive about our team (which I'd expect).  Said our strong points will again be offense and defense with Pitching the only question mark of which we struggle with every year.  Said we have very solid and exciting players to replace the ones that left and that our last year true freshman sensation from up North is a f*cking beast of a player.   We open with Mississippi State but most everyone knew that already.   

They auctioned off a handful of items.  One was an actual MLB bat to be signed by Brian Dozier.  The bidding started at $500.  Nobody took the bait.....sort of sad but that was overpriced.  A chic sitting at my table said "damn, I just bought a signed Eli Manning football for my son for $350."

all it took was seeing Wallner swing one time.....

he's a first rounder in 2 years if he remains healthy......

I can only hope my Cards get a shot at him....
