Fulmer hired as Tennessee AD.

Boring. Actually a lot like bringing Bower back. I was hoping P. Manning would throw his hat in the ring. That would be fun.

Re: Fulmer hired as Tennessee AD.

They could make this 30 for 30, put it in the theaters as a major release and it would win the box office opening weekend.....

I feel for Mike Leach since he thought he was going to be in the SEC. As funny as this sounds Paul Finebaum could probably be considered for the permanent AD position at UT since he is so connected and is a UT alum. Fulmer might bring in Tee Martin now as at least an assistant and maybe see if Brady Hoke will be willing to be the HC for one season.

It's hard to imagine Martin leaving OC job at USC to be OC at Tennessee. Ride it out as long as you can at USC until you get a good head coaching job.

Re: Fulmer hired as Tennessee AD.

That's pretty ridiculous. Where has Fulmer even been for the last 20 years?

Re: Fulmer hired as Tennessee AD.

They are holding a press conference right now....If you ever want to see a Chancellor who is uncomfortable discussing athletics watch the UT leadership. Sounds like she told Currie to return to Knoxville yesterday and he went rogue and went west to meet with Leach. She also said that Fulmer has respected her since she started her job 9 months ago.....only reason you mention that is if you want to insinuate that someone did not respect you......

Legally, Currie is suspended for now.....probably a state clause/process that requires suspension before termination.
