If the people in MS, especially south MS, aren't willing to support USM, then I damn sure don't feel guilty about not driving 4 hours, paying for hotels, food, etc. It's just not worth it.

James Green was the first friend I made when I moved to Hattiesburg. I've held football, basketball, and baseball season tickets. Been in the Eagle, Hardwood, Dugout, and whatever the softball club was when McNutt was here. Driven all over The South to games, flew with the team on a basketball charter, worked on campus nine years.

4 hour drive? I won't drive across town to support anything out there now. Especially when Toby sends a truck by the house once a week to pick it up.

I will be completely done with USM if Ladner is hired.

You ain't going anywhere. Train wrecks without injury are too intriguing to not watch, especially when you know they're coming.

Griggs, Datoo, T Rod, Fly Rod ... What about the all important kickoffs?

I pray that those guys end up being the experienced backups this season and that we don't wait a year or two to give Jaden the ball. The kid has the size that Jack doesn't possess. He dropped his commitment to Loserville after Petrino was fired. He had an offer from Kirby Smart at UGA. Either go all in and let this kid learn on the job or forget about 2019 all together. Tired of holding kids in your back pocket if they can contribute now.

Should start Griggs

He also played five years of "professional baseball."

1999    23    Lowell Spinners    New York-Pennsylvania League  A-
2000    24    Jackson Diamond Cats    Texas-Louisiana League   Ind
2001    25    San Angelo Colts    Texas-Louisiana League       Ind
2002    26    Jackson Senators    Central League                       Ind
2003    27    Jackson Senators    Central League                       Ind

Pretty sure I saw him with the 2003 Senators vs. the Black Sox in Palmers.
