We have truly been overwhelmed by the enormous outpouring of love and support this community has shown our Nick’s Ice House family during the last 48 hours.
Last night, with the smell of charred wood still lingering in the air, hundreds of you made your way to our parking lot to toast our neighborhood bar that has been serving the greater Hattiesburg community for the last 40 years and we can’t thank you enough. It helped remind us that the Nick’s community is about so much more than a rickety old building and some silly toilet seat bar stools.
We will be closed this weekend to give us time to catch our breath and secure the building as we chart a new path forward. Current plans are to open Monday evening and operate out of the ice house on the back of the property, weather permitting. More on that later.
For now, please know that Nick’s Ice House isn’t going anywhere anytime soon. We’re coming back bigger and better than ever and when we do, we’re going to throw a helluva party in your honor.

Waldrep with the heat. Great win Eagles!

two back to back 100 mph heat.....that guy can flat out hum it....

putting in Och when Powell got himself into a pickle was impressive....that took balls, but was warranted....he was letting go of the he framed that slider on a 3-2 to get out number two was major league epic.....

fwiw, I'm certain this was the eagles first back to back games achieving double digits in hits....

with a day off and arms to rest with many that haven't been used, the buzzards are in a pretty good spot at this point...

it's funny what happens with great starting pitching and having a few runs under your belt can achieve....

Nobody is saying we expect to win CWS but a regional win is something that should be expected more than once.

No it shouldn't. Winning West SUNWACUSA regular season titles and Harrison County Fair blue ribbons are considered a "Tradition of Excellence" according to the Lamar County Board of Supervisors.

Since never has Southern Miss won a regional it's hosted.

IF all programs realized Berry's success our path out of CUSA would already be realized.

That SUNWACUSA regular season titles and Harrison County Fair ribbons are considered success is why the path has ended here.
