Ha! I was watching HBO's "Chernobyl", and asked my wife if we had any vodka. Not my usual thing. She brought me a chilled bottle of Tito's, straight out of Austin, TX. So, I got on a Tito's kick for awhile.

Good stuff.

Table 8.

Probably learn everything worth knowing about all the other tables.

#3 Re: Southern Miss » New NFLNetwork TV deal... » 2019-06-13 16:42:35

Think the NFL Network is covering production. It's a tier three contract. Not bad for what it is, and the exposure is pretty great. Recruits should love the sound of the NFL Network.

Hopefully, we can spend money to make money.
Basketball can be a good investment. So spend the money on things that will increase attendance, if possible.

#5 Re: Southern Miss » For those in the 'burg... » 2019-04-23 19:33:45

The estimates are only for 1.3 million per year for 3 years, so no new arena.
We will spend the money on makeup, probably shatters and concessions. Nothing big.
But when you're broke...

#6 Re: Southern Miss » Basketball isn’t over just yet..... » 2019-03-18 17:01:06

We are beginning to take basketball seriously.
At least one more game means a few more sanctioned practice sessions.
All. For. It.
Get a jumpstart on next season, and possibly a nudge in recruiting.

Bart Torvik has us favored also. Over 30% chance of winning the tourney.
Based on metrics only.

Reading on investor boards that Disney's movie streaming service may not be released in 2019.

Practically a sad motherfucker that hangs out on message boards bloviating about a school he doesn't even support. Don't you have a field hand to beat?

#12 Re: Southern Miss » Great Read by Rick Cleveland » 2019-02-06 22:26:12

not impressed.

He could call out the IHL for raping USM for decades. There's a rape story. But he's part of the problem.

#13 Re: Southern Miss » Art Briles set to become our new offensive coordinator » 2019-02-06 21:53:19

Boycott Eagle Club. I'm fucking serious. Let the SJWs fund Rodney's athletic program. USM athletics is easily the worst thing in my life most of the time. It's like a fucking heroin addiction.

#14 Re: Southern Miss » Basketball @ FIU » 2019-02-04 17:43:27

Sagarin is pure shit.

Barttorvik.com is infinitely better.
NCAA uses NET rankings, which are an improvement from RPI.
We are #118 in NET rankings, and #117 in RPI.
C-USA is #13 conference out of 32 conferences (both NET and RPI.)
There are 353 D1 schools in basketball.

How you equate our performance to the crap you're posting is beyond me. We are basically equivalent to a top 40 football program at this point. I know that is nightmare scenario for most Doc haters, but all I can say is suck it and like it.

Absolutely stoked after reading this.
Somebody up there gets it. That's the most important thing.

#20 Re: Southern Miss » Basketball opens 2018-19 season with exciting win » 2018-11-06 21:48:53

This team is going to be easy to love. My biggest concern is the young guys being patient enough to wait their turn. Lots of young talent on this roster.
