Another new shade of gold. This one looks almost orange. Maybe we could be the Volunteer Eagles.
Since 1970 67.5% of the host teams have won their regional. It does have some significance.
Amazing what a little bit of practice will do for a decent qb.
No disrespect, but good Lord have mercy. If there was a singular qualification I'd put on this job it is that they have to be from this century. And that is coming from an old person.
Very interesting article on Mississippitoday.org about this whole situation.
Four. And truth be told that is probably more than MTSU has.
So out of Jay's first recruiting class he had one player to crack the starting lineup on a team that was supposedly as depleted as Iran's uranium, one to flunk out of school after one semester and one who hightailed it for greener pastures before people even learned his name. The rest, even the juco players, hardly even saw the court. Lord, and Allah, have mercy. Or maybe Newt will have mercy and steer his star player our way....
Got a commitment from a 6'3" point guard who Rick Cleveland says can play. He is currently playing for an undefeated PRCC team and played at ECU as a freshman. Of course it is going to take more than adding one decent player a year to build a team and last year's recruiting class is looking pretty much like a total bust.
Gotta wait till all the SWAC staffs are filled to see who is left.
