Sports journalism as a whole has really gone downhill. Where I live, the big sports radio station is 680 AM. Their programming basically consists of one person who's prepared and knowledgeable about sports (Chuck Oliver) plus about a half dozen guffawing idiots mocking him for doing his homework. I turned it off at some point and never went back. I'd rather listen to NP effin' R than that noise. Brian Hoyt in particular needs to find a new vocation.
