Not sure what he was listening to, but I heard Cox reference a series where we swept Missouri about a half dozen times.

Mizzou was still Big 12.

Considering C-USA teams rarely play SEC teams in weekend series, that's probably right.

I can only recall us playing two three-game series against SEC teams:  Losses to Mizzou in 2014 and LSU in maybe 2006.

toss in Coxie yappin' about wanting to slip into his 'pete taylor park pajamas' at the end of sunday's game, and it all 'comes together'....

Mizzou was still Big 12.

Missouri joined the SEC in 2012. They played a full SEC schedule in 2013 and were swept by Southern to open the 2013 season.

They were not a good choice for the SEC. Slive was attracted to their market and academics, but in the final analysis "Mizzou" is just a bunch of leftist kooks who have nothing in common with the rest of the SEC.
