So they got approved in July for a $175 million stadium that is part of a $300 million dollar downtown revitalization upgrade for the area and they are currently averaging around 24K per game during their best season in their entire history.........

This is exactly how dumb people act the second the economy is good......you can't hand a child $10 and not have them spend it in 5 minutes or less and you can't have the board of trustees at UAB use an ounce of their brain to not throw money away. Sure, this venue can be used for other events but you can accomplish the same thing for half the cost and save money and embarrassment......just look at ECU right now and tell me that don't wish they could pull the plug on those construction cranes upgrading their stadium in front of 17K in the stands.......

Few things send my blood pressure through the roof faster than having to deal with "streaming." Just takes all the fun out of watching TV. I'll deal with it to watch USM, but other than that you can have it. Give me plain old Comcast any day.

I do t mind streaming. Watch it a ton. It’s just another method. What I don’t like is I had BeIN and ATT dropped it. I figured as a recent retiree, I would have it. I called and complained to Direct TV.   They were lost.

I will just check in to see how things go.

Same, but with Comcast. I watched more than one USM game on beIN. I'm not even allowed to subscribe to beIN in my location. I guess they're playing hardball with Comcast.

Man, I'm watching Tulane - ECU on my second TV, and there is almost no one there. CUSA-worthy crowd, and that's in Tulane's best season in years.

Their QB (not Erdely, they're playing the other guy) apparently had Tommy John (UCL) surgery.

That's pretty rare for a QB. Delhomme had it, came back and looked good for most of one season, and then self-destructed.

My suspicion is that UCL repair can help your velocity, but it also makes your arm a bit more scattershot. That's OK in baseball; one off-the-mark pitch isn't likely to cost you like an interception does in football. In football, I definitely think UCL repair has its drawbacks.

Bradshaw tore up his elbow circa 1983. Not sure what they did to him, exactly, but he never came back.
