lower the bar

MS to eliminate HS US History Tests to graduate. I suppose history of American freedom and founding is just sort of inconvenient when you teaching communism.

Re: lower the bar

"One of the four tests that Mississippi public school students take in high school may be going away.
A testing task force voted by email last week to recommend that the state Board of Education scrap a now-required U.S. history test."

Where does MS rank in the US in education?

Re: lower the bar

It's the only one that isn't required by any gov't entity.

The real fix would be to apply for a waiver from DOE (which would be granted without question) to eliminate all this state testing BS and allow it to go away along with it's exorbitant bill.  You then use the ACT as the bar like everyone with common sense does.
