Was it correct? No

I think in general the right has done a decent job canceling out the noise from the left regardless of the media's agenda. In the end, you will have what happened in game 6 of the World Series in DC, where they ran with the anti Trump sound clips when he was negatively received in front of 41K in attendance and a tv audience of 14 million. The left media just loved it.

Two weeks later you have a similar situation, this time in front of 100K and a tv audience of 16 million. Did they cover it on CNN or MSNBC when he was celebrated at the stadium........ nope

The balloon was really insignificant that day. Wouldn't have even known it existed in Tuscaloosa until someone popped it.
