Oh, great. It's not like the federal government is running short on money or whatever. $20 trillion in debt and the "land of the free" is subsidizing military weaponry for local cops. Maybe next they can front the local code enforcement office a main battle tank, complete with scheduled maintenance. Sad.

In his final speech, Eisenhower warned of the military industrial complex.  JFK was killed over it and the Federal Reserve.  And now it permeates our local police.  Everyone has a "SWAT" team these days.
