Thinking Ito should win the Conerly.

Bragging about how they don’t watch non-USM CFB, but then talk about how we could beat Florida State or some other P5 team in Shreveport.

This aged well.

It's all aged well, if you're being sarcastic. And I am.

I do wonder if Ito should have won the Conerly. The pro game is a different game from the college, I admit, but I think Ito will do more in the NFL than Bo Wallace ever did. I also suspect he'll do about as well in the NFL as A.J. Brown.

AJ Brown will be a pretty legit pro prospect in 2020. I do think Ito will have a better NFL career than Fitzgerald.

Re: The TTT mindset

I like Rick Cleveland just because he’s the only statewide sports personality that isn’t completely obsessed with the SEC. However, he does sometimes think like a TTT fan.

https://mississippitoday.org/2018/01/06 … -could-do/

Not long ago, UCF was a member of Conference USA, where Jeff Bower’s Southern Miss teams used to eat them for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Bower was 2-1 vs UCF, with his two wins coming against UCF teams that went a combined 12-13. Not like he was beating their Peach Bowl team. And he got destroyed at home by their 2007 CUSA championship team. Bower’s record vs. UCF is certainly nothing to write home about.

Meanwhile, Larry “GOAT” Fedora went 4-0 against UCF. He beat their 2010 CUSA championship team that beat Georgia in the Liberty Bowl. And he gets no mention. WTF?

The comment was completely unnecessary. All this does is give more fire to the Ole Miss and State fans that say “Why’d y’all fire Jeff Bowers?”.

What do people even get out of trying to educate fans of other CUSA schools like that, or even talking to them? After Tulane and ECU left, I mostly stopped posting there until the EaglePost people showed up.

New to this board so reading back on some threads.

Can we back up and talk shit about these people a little more?

In 1999, most current football players were less than 3 or 4 years old. A large chunk of teams in our conference did not even have football programs. No one cares.

Not only is it a really dumb look, it's condescending as fuck to programs that we have no right to be condescending to. You can be delusional or you can be an asshole...but don't be both.

You just eliminated 97% of this board.

https://twitter.com/baseburg

First off, their Twitter handle is @baseburg, which is terrible. Second, their bio is "Where REAL baseball is played." I'm guessing that's a swipe at our North Mississippi masters.

You've really got to wonder what Eaglecloaca's end game is. What's he trying to accomplish? What does success look like to him?
