How did Hopson hook up with Dawson? Was there a prior connection, or did he just figure Dawson had a pretty good resume (considering the field of realistic candidates)?

I ask because promoting Walden is an exciting idea, but for all I know Hopson could have some good ol' boy he'd go to instead.

And Walden's already on staff as an "inside receivers coach." All things considered, he'd come pretty cheap, too. Give him a 50% raise and make one guy coach all the receivers. Or bring in someone else young and cheap.

It makes perfect sense to me, but my fear is that Hopson will either be hesitant to promote Walden over someone who's senior to him Walden / has more of a longstanding relationship with Hopson. Even worse, Hopson could have a good ol' boy Tommy West type he'll bring into the fold.

you have to at least admit KG had the ability to execute  (8*1.x) than KH.....

some of these guys don't understand unless'n dey bees a rappin'.....

so figure out how to translate and make it happen in that 'language'.......

there's more than one way to skin 'er.....
