Sun Herald?

I watched it. He projects the rotation to be Smith, Powers, and Keys/Powell. If Powell is healthy enough, he might have the edge opening weekend for that final spot.

Also said that Ostrander said that the goal for Wallner is for him to log 20 innings in the regular season.

Sun Herald on USM hitting.

http://amp.sunherald.com/sports/college … ssion=true

Berry says he’s “toying” with the idea of Guidry leading off. If so, I see Irby moving down the order so we don’t have 4 lefties leading off.

1) Guidry - 2B
2) Keys - CF
3) Reynolds - 3B
4) Wallner - RF
5) Keating - DH
6) Slater - 1B
7) Donaldson - C
8) Irby - LF
9) Boyd - SS

Re: Offseason baseball thread

FYI for EC non-season ticket holders .... you are allowed to buy tickets for the State series starting today. Word is that chairbacks are all gone and now they're working on selling out the bleachers and RF area.

Tickets go on-sale to the general public on 2/1.

The only thing worse than our admins handling of this series is the bullbabies whining about it.

Hello. You get us there next year. Are you gonna offer us the tickets first?  No.

How are our admins handling this poorly? Not trolling/flaming. Just curious.

You don’t need 15 separate categories for ticket buying for a regular series. Makes you look petty. Act like you have been there people.

There was 0 chance of state ppl having a large presence at the Pete w/o all this BS.

Gilbert exhibits a general tendency to kill the goose that laid the golden egg.

It's almost as if he doesn't plan on being here a year from now...

We've had some real shitheads in that job since about 1999.

Well, I agree with you that there are too many categories. Should be 2. Let EC/Dugout/season tix holders buy their tickets first ... then open up tickets to the general public.

State fans would buy all the tickets if they opened it up to the general public immediately. Trust me. We'd see 1500-1600 USM fans there from season ticket purchases then the other 3000+ would all be State fans. They'd all flood the ticket site as soon as they went for sale. Those people are absolutely insane about college baseball.

Maybe later in the year. Franklin isn’t ready now. Not close.
