Beyond vindicating what Donald Trump said, I draw a few conclusions from accounts like that one.

Some parts of the world are incompatible with democracy and capitalism. Too many neocon types want to drag the whole world into our own system, whether by importing the people or exporting the system. It hurts people.

In reality, when our two worlds mix, the third world culture gives more to the first world culture than it takes.

Contact between, say, the UK and Jamaica doesn't lead to Jamaican music having a symphony problem. It leads to UK music developing a steel drum problem, as noted by Prince Phillip.

Finally, I think other parts of the world must be appalled by the way the developed world treats family. It's no wonder so many of them wouldn't shed a tear if we were exterminated.
