Luckily, a SCAR 17 is a much more pleasant looking firearm!  X95 Tavor is a pretty cool one too. 

And all the kids at very young ages know what an AR, AK, Tavor, SCAR, PS-90, Desert Eagle, etc is.  They walk into the gun store with their dad and start pointing and naming every one of them by 10 years old.  I ask how a little dude can know that and the dad says, "oh, he plays those video games".  I have finally seen "those video games" and a fuckin 10 year old needs to be watching S&M porn before he needs to be playing that shit.  Furthermore, you apparently are the good guys (US soldiers) one minute and the bad guy (jihadists) the next minute shooting US soldiers.  WTF is that about???

Agreed on the video games. Yeah, somebody did a "study" and exonerated the games. Bullshit. Lying with statistics is easy, and on this issue my gut feeling lines up with Tipper Gore.

Nightline will have a special report tonight. Jimmy Kimmel will cry during his monologue. Anderson Cooper will interview a student and show just how sorry he is. Colbert and Fallon will fake sympathy for all involved before introducing their first host and then laugh and have fun the rest of the show. Things are going to change this time.

If something like this happens at the combine Cheeto will be safe.

The GD media makes superstars out of every mass shooter, serial killer, etc.  Stop putting their name and picture out and these stupid, shallow fucks will find something else to do.

I call it the consequence of #algorism and the internutz....

toss in wealth division, enlarging welfare status for votes, and illegal immigration in a capitalist society......well, it simply becomes a prescription for disaster....

This is now and has been the new normal unfortunately. Lack of value on another ones life has become more evident inside our country. The worst has yet to come and you just have to be as careful as possible but actions like today you just can’t prevent.

I say this assuming that all of FL is like our county.... All of our schools here have a School Resource Officer SRO assigned to them. They are county deputies, it's their job. Not a minimum wage armed guard. Now the problem is that most of our schools only have one officer on duty, 9 out of 10 times that is fine, but.... That school was 3,000+ kids, that's impossible for one officer. They could be 300 yards away from any given incident.

Horrible tragedy. There are some really fucked up people in this world.

just noticed this was the Mississippi FBI that was contacted about the kid and did nothing.  they were supposed to put him on a registry so he could not buy the gun he bought.  But that takes time and effort. so they just "let it slide".  we sure live in a wonderful country don't we?

this is a tragedy w/o a real solution other than repealing the 2nd ammendment, securing our borders to the point of 100% illegal contraband, and gentically engineering people to eradicate all 'illicits'.....

edit:  the one thing I'll give ya as a solution would be to amend the 1st  'social media' amendment with either a fineable or prison offense based on the threat issued.....a threat vs. flat our murder would be a nice dividing line....
