Ronald Acuña's homer on the first pitch of the first inning...

...is his fourth home rum in four games. Ozzie Albies followed up with a base hit of his own.

This Braves team is on a collision course with a National League pennant. Might not be this year, but I wouldn't rule it out.

Just did it again. 5 games in a row with a HR.

Charlie Culberson follows it with a homer of his own.

This team is special.

Re: Ronald Acuña's homer on the first pitch of the first inning...

Listening to Chris and Nick this morning talking about him and some of the greats he has matched on this run. After tonight he stands alone in MLB history as the youngest player to hit a homer in 5 consecutive games. Unbelievable.....

Well, that’s one way to prevent him from leading off yet another game with a homer.....

Re: Ronald Acuña's homer on the first pitch of the first inning...

LOL. Doesn't surprise me that people are forgetting how to pitch when they see him at this point.

Was talking with someone about Freddie Freeman's Cooperstown chances last weekend, and my comment was that Ronald probably has as good a chance at it as he does. It's based on <100 games, but some of that shit, man, mere mortals just don't do that...

Re: Ronald Acuña's homer on the first pitch of the first inning...

Just saw the video. Intentionally hit him on first pitch. Benches cleared. Low rent Mattingly and Jeter.....it’s what you expect from a bunch of cowards. Thought this was an interesting stat...

Holy shit. Why?? I knew Mattingly was a bit of a prick, but that's next level bullshit.

Reminds me of when Jerry Glanville put a bounty on Morten Andersen and it fucked with his head for a few years. Still looking for that Jerry Glanville bust in Canton, OH,

He was our neighbor in Roswell when he coached the dirty birds. Always was easy to spot because he wore black every single day of the year and some classic hotrod car that was also black.

Re: Ronald Acuña's homer on the first pitch of the first inning...

Some good news.....although I wouldn’t expect him to play for a few days since he took himself out of the game probably due to swelling on that elbow.
