BDR's not the only one. Hence my point... if you're flying from Hattiesburg to California to have dinner with Jeff Bower, you're not flying from Hattiesburg to California to have dinner with Jeff Bower.

Although the job could be his if he wanted it, and that has likely been floated, through a private sector eye and lacking additional details, this was ostensibly a huge junket - pres. and half the athletic dept. flying to California for the national championship game and living large on university funds with the thinnest facade of justification.

This really disgusts me. Don't poor mouth about the mean old P5 and all their money, do everything that matters on a shoestring budget, and then run off to California to screw around (and more likely, to sniff around for jobs).

For that matter, why are we talking about California so much lately? McGillis runs off to CA, our interim AD is from CA, Bower's having dinner with USM people in CA (like you could never catch Bower at a restaurant in Bay St. Louis or whatever).

I think a Hawaii Bowl-style uprising may be in order here...

You can catch him at Luna’s or Roosters in GA.

Talk about a slap in the face.

Do you mean Roaster's? I like that place. Both locations, in fact.
