2019 football schedule predictions

Week 1: vs. Alcorn State: Win

Week 2: at MS State: Loss

Week 3: at Troy: Loss. Chip Lindsey is the new Troy HC. He's smarter than Hop, etc. and will have home field advantage.

Week 4: at Bama: Loss

Week 5: vs. UTEP: Win. Just not a good opponent.

Week 6: vs. UNT: Loss. UNT is very hard to predict, but they had no problem with USM in 2018.

Week 7 @ LA Tech: Win. They've lost some important pieces.

Week 8: @ Rice: Win. Not a good team.

Week 9: vs. UAB: WIn. They're losing a lot of talent and USM will be looking for revenge.

Week 10 @ UTSA: Win. I don't see Frank Wilson working out for them.

Week 11 vs. WKU: Loss. Not a great opponent but Hopson and co. will be complacent after several victories.

Week 12 @ FAU: Loss. Lane Kiffin's team will turn it around after a bad 2018 and will eat Hopson's lunch.

Eagles will go bowling at 6-6 but lose. Final record is 6-7.

Re: 2019 football schedule predictions

2019 Alabama State Champs........start printing the t shirts.....

We beat Troy due to significant player turnover at Troy and the staff changes

We will not lose to WKU.....they are in the middle of a dumpster fire and have a new staff......second in three years for them

UNT is a toss up.....same with FAU although Lane lost a lot of talent due to incarcerations and expiring eligibility

We go 9-3 with our defense leading the way.....just like the 90’s......

If we start 1-3, I believe you'd be able to use a child's abacus to count the attendance for that UTEP game. It'll likely be played in a Tropical Storm too because we're overdue for that.

So much for important games.

Re: 2019 football schedule predictions

A far cry from Memphis, ECU and Houston, but a more interesting home sched. than usual considering:

NT has whipped us 3 in a row.
WK has whipped us 2 in a row.
UAB has whipped us 3 in a row.

No prediction until the starting QB is named.

I want to see Jaden Johnson since he is probably half a foot taller than Jack.....Won't happen because thats not who we are when it comes to Freshman........or talent.......

This

Just eat it this year.

Get some time for the freshman.

The other 2 aren't the answer.

Just my opinion.

I like what we saw in Tate, cool and steady, with lots of upside.

Re: 2019 football schedule predictions

I agree that Tate’s upside seems better than Jacks......not to mention he is also much taller

Tate was definitely a nice change of pace last year, when teams were teeing off on Abraham.

I'm not sure the height issue matters that much anymore. At some point the pendulum will swing back toward pocket passing, but the backfield of 2019 seems like a short man's paradise.

Re: 2019 football schedule predictions

It's almost close to practically like almost discussing former Division 1 tackle football.

“I am told this is a garbage disposal,” Ocasio-Cortez explained. “It is terrifying. I don’t know what to use it for, or what its purpose is." At one point, she asked, “Is this environmentally sound? “All you people telling me to reach in and grab whatever’s there are just Republicans trying to test my health insurance.”
