Gotta respect the passion and research on this.

Re: OT - Auburn

He will be coaching Arkansas next season. Why? Because Arkansas is interviewing Houston Nutt this week for the open position. When Houston Nutt is getting a call to be a coach again in the SEC the bucket is really empty. Auburn wants out of their contract and Arkansas wants him. Its really that simple.

Re: OT - Auburn

If you thought the Taggert exit was expensive for FSU at $20 million, Auburn is on the hook for $27 million with half of that money due within the first 30 days of termination. If Auburn is smart, they work a deal out with Arkansas and Gus on the second part of that buyout. Gus would owe Auburn $5 million if he were to leave on his own and he won't if he has good legal representation. Probably have Auburn pay the man $13.5 to leave and pay 4 million of his first year salary at Arkansas saving them roughly $10 million in a buyout. Arkansas signs him for a 4 year contract at $6.5 million a year which really puts them on the hook for $5.5 million a year after Auburn pays their part for year 1.

Re: OT - Auburn

Then I would expect Auburn and USC to be in a bidding war for Urban Meyers.......
