Re: USM co-defensive coordinator headed to Louisville

I have less of a problem with Pecoraro returning provided Billings is still the DC. Was the defense terrible in 2019, for the most part. However, how many times did they have a short field to work with after Jack turned the ball over especially during some of those 5 INT games.

If Hop does hire outside of the program to fill the vacant OC spot I just don't expect him to hold on to Walden. Only those in the coaching profession can tell if Walden is the real deal or not but just from observing during games he is the first coach to consistently congratulate a player, regardless if they are on offense, defense or special teams, following a big play. He wears his emotions on his sleeve and one would think at his age he will be a great asset to develop with the proper leadership. Whatever we are paying Walden he has earned it.

Hop has a way of keeping coaches here by wearing his faith on his sleeve. It helps him with recruiting and probably has something to do with why Jeremy defends him through his silence. Hop, who doesn't do much of anything on social media made sure to get his MLK message on social media yesterday because thats who he is.

680 The Fan in Atlanta is discussing the Faulkner hire a few minutes ago. They are at a loss why he would take such a step back. He can't wear a headset during the game but can be on the sidelines. They aren't even sure if UGA has enough parking spaces in the parking lot for Buster. They believe he is going to be in charge of coffee for the coaches in addition to reviewing game tapes.......

It's like Groundhog's Day, but you're not reliving Groundhog's Day,  you're reliving the day the Saints hired Mike Ditka.

Ditka is in the Hall of Fame.... i am thinking more like the day the saints hired Jim Haslett or Rick Venturi

Wonder if the bases are white turf squares, and if the pitcher's mound is flat.

"New offensive analyst Buster Faulkner will earn a total compensation package of $150,000. Last year, Faulkner made $250,000 while serving as the offensive coordinator at Southern Miss." - UGAsports.com

Wow that is interesting.
