One hell of a red pill. Not the contention of the writer, but it isn't hard to imagine a step further, that since all else failed to dent the POTUS, a massive escallation came about, in rhythm like the next shot in a revolver. In other terms, it is believable that the democrats in league with an increasingly pressured communist Chinese gov't, pulled this trigger.
