The defense... what happened?

They were impressive against Tennessee, then they give up 250 yards rushing against Rice... WTF? Did people just take the week off? Is Rice underrated somehow?

We're certainly not above winning a shootout with Rice by 9 points; I predicted a seven point game. I was surprised by how shit went down last night, though. The way they were able to convert at will against USM's defense does not bode well.
