to this day, it's amazing you guys only won one WS in the 90's with that pitching staff....IMO, it was one of the best 3 starters ever assembled that stayed together....

I still can't believe the Cubs traded Maddux to you guys....

I would actually label them as the best starting pitching rotation ever.
Possibly the best World Series ever played was in 91. We win game two it doesn't go 7 especially how the Braves dismantled the Twins 14-5 in game 5. The momentum was ruined on this play and everybody knows it......but it helped Kirby get his well deserved second title so I'm cool with it now......

it's been 15 years since the Twins have won a playoff game...that should also help ease the 'pain'... wink
