Basketball @ LA Tech

USM gets a full week off, next playing at Ruston on Saturday.

Tech is just 2-5 in "conference" play, but is also about 50 spots above USM in the KenPom ratings. They've played some pretty good teams close in losses (Alabama, ULL, WKU, and Stephen F. Austin).

If Doc and the team can pull off a win, I'll be a close to "impressed" as I've been in a while. If Tech tends to lose close games, and USM plays them close, it could be that Doc turns out to be a good enough game manager to take this one.

It looks like an uphill,  but not impossible, climb.

Wish he could do better than 52% at the foul line, though.

puck drops in ~15 mins.....

it's easily the best of the rest.....no differently than the 3 on 3 formatted games they play tomorrow.....

I'm a hockey nerd.....I pick hockey over 'em all except StL baseball and southern miss football....

playoff hockey is where it's really at....

For me it's USM football, followed by the Saints, and then the Braves.

Yeah, the Braves suck, but I've really started to enjoy watching baseball. The pitcher really is out there on an island, and there's a lot of strategy that goes into it all.
