Remember this guy.....

I saw him play in Pittsburgh in the early 80's when he was with the Cardinals. I remember saying something obnoxious about his drug issues while sitting next to my dad in the stands who immediately scolded me for talking about someones mistakes/failures.

Trying to remember some of the great players I have seen in person. I'm sure between living in Philly and Pittsburgh back in the early 80's I saw someone on another team that was probably great but I was just too young to remember. The Braves rotation in the 90's might be hard to beat regardless....

I saw John Candelaria pitch a few innings as a reliever late in his career. That was a loooong time ago.  You could tell he was a giant, even from way up in the Astrodome bleachers.
