According to a source close to the situation, Mississippi State had interest in meeting with Monken about the opening — which was created Sunday when Dan Mullen was named Florida’s football coach — but the former Southern Miss football coach is happy in Tampa. He did not interview with Bulldogs officials and all indications are talks between Monken and Mississippi State are off.

Told you dumb asses....

hey, where's my 12-pack wink

some of us only saw it as plausible.....

also, I hardly hinge upon a munzzz's insight.....

Next time you should build interest into the bet. You did not specify interest, so 99beers' commitment to you is, unfortunately, an open-ended one. As long as he gives you a 12 pack of Bud Light before one of you "croaks," he's in compliance with the declaration of independence.

you need to revisit the thread pal.....

it was a simple drive that could've easily been handled the following day.....it's all on record....

I never broke legs when I didn't get paid as a bookie back in the 80s.....I simply cut 'em off (figuratively)

bottom line: the board knows "what's what"

never did like weenie bitches......

Look here you wormy mother fucker.  I didn't agree to a next day payment, as the record shows.  Second, quit acting like I renigged on a bet 2 days later because you haven't gotten your precious bounty.   You will get it douche bag.  Fucking grow up.

Actually a date was set and never challenged. Stink said Winn Dixie parking lot next morning, believe 8:30am. Beers direct response stated Stink would have to travel to Madison. Additionally tossing in extra commentary of having cc attend as well, essentially tossing a threat around.

So, based on the dialog it did assume beer delivery would occur the next day, Sunday.

I kind of felt like he was phoning it in at that job anyway.

Still open

aTm
Tenn
Ark
MSU
Nebaska

One would think Kiffen, Frost, and Norvell will fill three of those.   They have championship games coming up and dont want the distractions.

I really thought they'd go after one of the ex Ok St OC's we had as a coach. fedora or monken, instead they are focusing on the Head Coach. maybe because he's a man. He just concluded his interview moments ago.

Re: Wow, plenty of coaching jobs available.....and maybe more.

That's not a bad move for Tenn, and might not be a bad time to jump for Gundy. He's been at OK St. for 13 years and won the Big Twelve only once, and won the south division only one other time. His pathway to nat'l championship is way smoother at OK State. Sooner or later his biggest booster is bound to call for a change.
