fyi....I'll pull up in a green sierra ('95 model) with an StL cards tag on the front, and a southern miss tag on the rear with my derriere sandwiched in between....

what's really funny is I already know you won't follow through........but I will

Not optimistic about this one.

Start with the presumption that the teams are basically even, in an abstract strength / size / speed / smarts sense.

It's a conference game. 7 points against USM.

It's a road game. 1 point against USM.

USM should be motivated. 3 points for USM.

They have a legitimate platoon of RBs, one of whom's pretty big. 7 points against USM.

USM has only scored 50+ under Hopson once, and the week after that Hop showed his true colors and lost at home to Troy. 3 points against USM.

Kwadra is healthy. Team has been winning with him back. 7 points for USM.

So it's Marshall by about 8. The over/under is 47. Do the algebra and you end up with something like 28-20, Marshall.

I agree the team plays well on the road. I still think the long trip up to WV for a day game is a bummer, but it's not worth the customary 3 points.
