The truth is this team is solid (like last years team) but it's not gonna make it to Omaha.  Simply put, good teams don't lose midweek games or drop even one game to a dismal terrible team.  Sorry, it's the truth.

I get that.....however, I'm of the mindset we wait to see how our pitching rotation evolves after a few more weeks.....

this is a top 5 in the nation batting lineup.....

You get Colt and Matty Ballgame in the rotation and this is a team that certainly has the talent to win A National Championship.

That was my half-assed computer nerd gut reaction. As things stand, this seems like a team that is a starter or two away from greatness.

It doesn't matter, if you assume Berry, Ostrander et al. are putting the best pitchers they can find out there. But if there is any prospect of them finding a better mix pitcher-wise, then that would be the one variable that could lift this team from good to great.
